What is Walk Therapy?

It is what it sounds, walking and talking, an opportunity to spend the therapeutic hour away from the therapy room, moving figuratively and literally, with myself walking alongside you at your pace.

The benefits

Walk and Talk Therapy gets clients moving, in every sense. While being outdoors can be meditative, it can also connect you to the natural environment, amongst trees, water and wildlife. Additionally, research shows physical activity reduces stress and can enhance mental, as well as physical health (Mental Health Foundation, 2018). Walk and Talk maybe something you would like to try.

Where to begin

I understand that to venture into Counselling and Psychotherapy may feel very daunting. I therefore offer an initial session, so you can see, if it feels right for us to work together.
